Dr Elle Nguyen is a consultant neurologist with subspecialty training in Neuro-ophthalmology. She grew up and studied at Melbourne and Deakin University and completed her Neurology and Neuro-ophthalmology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Alfred Health and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital and has had experience in the general neurology, neuromuscular, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, general neuro-ophthalmology and ocular diagnostic clinics. Dr Nguyen is currently in her final year of her PhD at Monash University studying diagnostic measures using eye movements in Myasthenia Gravis. 

 

Dr Nguyen consults at The Neuro Group on a monthly basis as a general neurologist, seeing patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Her special interests include:

1. Neuro-ophthalmological disorders (Eg. Non-ophthalmic visual loss, ocular motility disorders, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, giant cell arteritis, optic neuritis).

2. Neuromuscular disorders

3. General neurological disorders/presentations

 

Dr Nguyen does not see patients for the purposes of worker’s compensation, medico-legal reports or TAC related claims.
